The Perfect OWB Holster

This holster fits perfectly to my belt. The trigger is covered, it’s a fast draw, and adjustable. This is my fourth holster from Upperhand holsters.

**** the Customer!

**** the customer!

I like the fact that the holster is curved for concealment, that’s as far as the liking goes. That’s the reason for the two stars. If you had better return policy it would have been more stars. I have a Bear Creek Arsenal 9mm and it’s built on the Glock 17 frame and has a double stack mag. I ordered the Glock 17 and it doesn’t fit it had a piece of masking tape on the back and not a product label like the other ones, so I don’t know if you sold me a returned one or not but I paid for NEW! I looked at the return policy and I’m charged a 20% restocking fee and have to pay to get it to you and pay to get the new holster to me and since I used the discount code for the holiday I don’t get a refund All! So I’ll add you to the list of people who I won’t be doing business with. You have a good idea and really lack good customer relations. I know that you have a lot of people who are satisfied with your product and that’s all good but the one’s that are not is of no worries to you based on the policies that you put in place. So I have another holster that will be collecting dust until I have a garage sale.

We appreciate the feedback—especially when it gives us a chance to correct some misinformation.

To clarify: the Bear Creek Arsenal 9mm is not a Glock 17. While it’s marketed as a clone, it’s built on the BCA-101 frame, which includes changes to the trigger guard and rail dimensions. That often causes poor fitment with holsters built for true Glock 17 specs. Our holsters are precision-fit to exact Glock OEM tolerances—not made loose to accommodate off-spec clones.

The holster you received was brand new and handcrafted to your order. The piece of masking tape is part of our internal production tracking—used during builds to keep holsters organized. We do not sell used or returned holsters. Ever. And for reference, the shorthand on that tape—“G17 RTS”—stands for Glock 17/47/49 Ready to Ship.

Our return policy is clearly posted on our website for anyone to read before ordering. The 20% restocking fee exists because we don’t reuse holsters—we destroy and scrap them. That fee helps offset part of the loss, but not all of it. That’s the cost of maintaining quality and integrity in a handcrafted product.

You mentioned we “really lack good customer relations.” But a relationship involves communication—and this review is the first time we’ve heard from you. Without reaching out to us directly, it’s hard to say we didn’t try to help. We take care of our customers—but we need the opportunity to do so first.

And for anyone reading this: if you’re unsure whether your clone or off-brand firearm will fit a holster made for a different model—just reach out. We’re happy to save both of us some time and at least point you in the right direction (even if it’s away from us).
